TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Scope

These terms apply to all creative services provided by THE LONG EDIT, including creative direction, styling, branding, visual merchandising, website design, photography and content creation.

2. Agreement

THE LONG EDIT provides a written quotation specifying the work, deliverables, fee and project schedule. The agreement takes effect when the client accepts the quotation by email or in writing. The accepted quotation and these terms govern the project.

3. Client cooperation

The client provides all required information and materials on time and gives feedback and approvals within five business days of receiving work for review. Delays caused by missing materials or feedback extend the project schedule accordingly.

4. Fees and payment

The fee is stated in the quotation. Invoices are payable within 20 days of the invoice date. THE LONG EDIT may pause work while an invoice remains overdue.

5. Revisions and additional work

The fee includes two rounds of revisions to the agreed work. Further revisions and requests outside the agreed scope are charged at CHF 150 per hour. Additional work will be confirmed with the client before it begins.

6. Cancellation

If the client cancels less than seven calendar days before the agreed project start date, a cancellation fee of 30% of the quoted fee applies. If the client cancels less than three calendar days before the start date, the fee is 50%.

If work has already begun, completed work and approved non-refundable third-party costs are payable. Amounts already charged as a cancellation fee are credited against the cost of completed work.

7. Client materials

The client confirms that they have the right to provide and use all photographs, text, logos and other materials supplied for the project. The client is responsible for claims arising from materials they provide.

8. Use of completed work

The client receives the right to use the final, approved work for the purposes stated in the quotation once all invoices have been paid. Drafts and unused concepts remain with THE LONG EDIT and may not be used or passed to others without written permission. Third-party materials remain subject to their own licence terms.

9. Portfolio

THE LONG EDIT may present completed work on its website and in its portfolio unless the client requests confidentiality in writing before publication. Personal photographs of the client will be published only with the client’s permission.

10. Liability

THE LONG EDIT is responsible for its work in accordance with applicable law. It is not responsible for delays caused by the client, changes made to the completed work by others, or problems with third-party services outside its control.

11. Applicable law

Swiss law applies to the agreement.
