ABOUT

I was born and raised in Moscow. My childhood was surrounded by literature, poetry, painting and music. I attended a literary circle at the Palace of Pioneers, wrote poetry and tried my hand at acting in Soviet films. It was then that my love of art and my attention to visual expression began to take shape.

I have spent much of my adult life in Switzerland. For more than twenty years, I worked in the world of watches, jewellery and luxury goods. At different stages, I created my own jewellery collections and worked on the visual presentation of objects and spaces. Later, my interests expanded to fashion and interiors, and I completed professional studies in Visual Merchandising and Interior Design at STF Zürich.

Today, this experience forms the foundation of THE LONG EDIT, my creative studio. I work with visual concepts, spaces, styling, catalogues and presentations. I am drawn to projects in which objects, spaces and images come together with a character of their own. Every project begins with an understanding of its context and purpose; only then does its visual form emerge.

I pay close attention to how a project is experienced: what catches the eye first, how its elements relate to one another, and what stays in the mind afterwards. Colour, proportion, placement and atmosphere all matter. Together, these choices give an idea its presence.
